I started paiting in my art classes in secondary school. Beginning with acrylic paint I copied combinations of already existing images. After secondary school I started painting impressionistic landscapes, still wanting to develop different ways of painting. During my study in Delft I followed several painting courses like "Varied techniques and materials" and "Portrait and model". I found out I really enjoy making artworks that arise during the process, so I have no idea what I am going to create when I start, I like to use the coincidence. It is an interesting process to learn to work with what happens and when I paint it feels like something bigger than me takes over. It helps me be more creative in other work, because I can create without boundaries or self criticizing.
